Bedell Cellars is located on the North Fork of Long Island, about 90 miles from New York City. We recommend arriving the day before and making a weekend of it.
From NYC, take the Long Island Expressway (I-495) east to Exit 73, then follow Route 58 and Main Road (Route 25) east into Cutchogue. Total drive time is approximately 2 hours, depending on traffic. We strongly recommend leaving early — Long Island traffic on summer Fridays is real.
The Long Island Rail Road runs from Penn Station or Atlantic Terminal to Mattituck (the closest stop). From Mattituck, it's about a 5-minute drive to Bedell Cellars. Taxis and rideshares are limited in the area, so coordinate with other guests or arrange a rental car ahead of time.
The Cross Sound Ferry runs between New London, CT and Orient Point, NY — the eastern tip of the North Fork. From Orient Point, Bedell Cellars is about a 20-minute drive west. A great option if you're coming from New England or anywhere along I-95.

We've reserved blocks of rooms at two hotels, at a special rate for Thursday, June 10 through Saturday, June 12. Rooms are limited, so we recommend booking early. Wedding-day shuttles will run from both locations.

The best farm stand on the North Fork. Fresh produce, flowers, baked goods, and an epic corn maze in fall.

For the wedding, formal attire. The ceremony and dinner are outdoors on a vineyard, so keep that in mind for footwear. June in the North Fork is warm and breezy, so dress for a summer evening.
For Thursday's welcome drinks, casual. It's a brewery, so come as you'd dress for a relaxed night out.
Yes — valet parking will be available at Bedell Cellars. That said, if you're staying nearby and can take our shuttle or share a ride, we'd encourage it — especially later in the evening.
Yes! On the wedding day, shuttles will run to and from Bedell Cellars from two pickup spots: the Hotel Indigo in Riverhead, and Greenport village near the Harbor Front Inn. Exact times will be shared closer to the date. Ubers and taxis are limited in this part of the North Fork, so we strongly recommend taking the shuttle or arranging a car service in advance.
